They say Squirrel is a Yankee,  

Almost a redneck,  

But I ain’t got the skills, no,  

To be that way, I’m the second best,  

I’m a Detroit Yankee,  

I can handle that crazy,  

Duct tape’s my best friend,  

Fixing things in a flash,  

I swear it comes from the heart,  

Can’t let my dreams just crash.  


So here I stand, an underdog,  

With big dreams running wild,  

Fame and power in my sights,  

But I'm still that crazy child.  

ADHD is real, I know,  

Improvise, adapt, overcome,  

With redneck friends by my side,  

Together, we’ll get it done.  


My granddad taught me well,  

When the world gets rough,  

He’d crack a cold one for us,  

But I’m not a beer-drinking puff.  

I’ll take my Arizona RX,  

Sweet sips on summer nights,  

In this world of chaos,  

My heart ignites with lights.  

Don’t let 'em tell you you can't,  

Just slow down, breathe, and see,  

Even if I’m a little nuts,  

I’m a hero to me.  


So here I stand, an underdog,

Fame and power in my sights,

With redneck friends by my side,

We’ll laugh ‘til it hurts,  

With stories that spill,  

Remember that time with the car?  

Redneck fixin’ with skill.  

I’m not quite fit for a crown,  

But I’m known around these parts,  

With my heart full of dreams,  

And the wisdom of redneck hearts.

I’m a little different, yes, I see,  

But that’s alright by me,  

‘Cause being me is all I’ve got,  

And I’ll be wild and free.
